I looked at the real Harvard page and the current figure seems to actually be $48,550 per year for tuition. I don't think that includes boarding. If we want to apply the way it works in the real world to fictional Malcolm, it says anyone accepted who thier family makes less then $60,000 a year can expect to get 100% financial aid and pay nothing. So in reality the situation occuring in Graduation probably should not happen. Or if it did he should complain and apply again for more aid when he got the burecratic problem of a certain grant being cancelled.
