Yes, though it's hardly remembered, just a few years before Malcolm, there was another nerdy pre-teen boy on TV who talked straight to the camera to share his shrewd, critical observations about his parents, siblings and friends with us. He also wasn't above spying on and manipulating his family to get his way.



The show, which was the first to be entirely edited on an Apple Mackintosh computer, didn't catch on, however, running for just one season.



Series editor Barry Silver's P.O.V.: I was the lead editor and effects supervisor on this show - "Bailey Kipper's POV". The show was produced for and aired on CBS. It aired for only one season, unfortunately. It was a fun show to work on, and very creative in its execution.
