Re: MITM Mistakes I Have Discovered

I don't recall hearing it, but if it sounds like a baby or toddler making noises it is most likely intentional sound effects since Reese was a toddler when Malcolm was born.

I don't know if it was intentional but they didn't show any children whe it happened. And it really did'nt sound like a normal baby noise, it was all strange like it was backways! And it wasn't only once I heard it, its everytime I see that episode so it must be something. Next time you see it listen out for it, its when she slides down the car and then the scene changes.

Everything that I touch turns to crap, and now... i bring you rain! Hal in 'Flashback'

Re: MITM Mistakes I Have Discovered

In Krelboyne Picnic there is a kind of billboard, rather a sign where it is written in french "Le cirque du Krelboyne". That is strange not to have a plural. I would have written "Le cirque des Krelboynes" or maybe "le cirque Krelboyne". Anyway what has been written sounds weird but even if there is a mistake it is kind of funny to have these french words on malcolm in the middle...:)

PS:I noticed it because I'm french..;)

Goof?

I was watching the episode of malcolm in the middle called "Christmas" (Where lois takes the presents hostage) for christmas Dewey got a pair of Rollerskates from Lois but doesnt Dewey have to take the rollerskating lessons for Hal to get rollerskates?

Re: Goof?

Interesting concept. Maybe that present was only from Lois and she doesn't know about Hal's skating lessons?

Re: Goof?

Or Hla already taught Dewey how to skate and we just weren't told about it. Another skating episode would have been quite boring, wouldn't it?

Re: Goof?

I was recently watching Hal Quits and I found a goof/mistake. In the scene was Hal and Lois are in the kitchen, talking about different kinds of paint brushes. Lois pours herself some tea. As Hal and Lois head back to their room Lois has the cup of tea in her hand, the door then opens (it's Francis) and when she turns to see who it is the cup is mysteriously gone. This really isn't that world changing but I thought it'd be fun to post it anyway. :D

And we all know about the goof in Red Dress(where you can see one of the crew members).:D
And about the rollerskates-If Hal saw Dewey got them, he probably confiscated them until Dewey took his dreaded lessons. That's why we never saw Dewey use them in the rest of the show.:D

Re: Goof?

Not sure if it's really a goof but in "Pearl Harbor" when Malcolm says the family never goes anywhere or does anything, I started thinking and I a few things came to mind. "Stock Car Races" even though Lois wasn't involved, "Water Park" even though Dewey wasn't involved, "Dinner out", "Casino", if im thinking of the right one, "Houseboat", and "Vegas". Just a couple of things I thought of.

I noticed that as well a while ago. Dewey may have taken the lessons, but they just didn't show it.

Where is the goof in the Red Dress? I've never seen it, and I want to catch it next time I watch it.

When Malcolm was about to take his lessons, he asked his brothers to know what would happen.

I don't really remember this episode, but I think he asked Francis, Reese, and also Dewey (I'm not sure about this). So Malcolm may be the last child of the family to take these skate lessons, that could explain why Dewey is allowed to skate.

Or it could simply be a mistake in the story !

I think he meant nothing what everybody likes. The boys didn't enjoy the Stock Car Races, they didn't enjoy Houseboat (at least not in the beginning) and also Casino or Dinner out. Maybe Vegas... but: Malcolm didn't enjoy Las Vegas with Boone Vincent:D

It's when Lois is coming out of the bathroom, just before she says, "Fire? Fire!" and shows the dress to the boys. When she's coming out of the bathroom, you can see a crew member take the dress out of a bucket of water and hand it to Jane.

He didn't ask Dewey. My guess is that A) Dewey never actually skated, perhaps because he didn't take the lessons, or B) the story is supposed to revolve around Malcolm, so unlike his own skating lessons, Dewey's lessons weren't a significant event in Malcolm's life.

Re: Goof?

Speaking of "Rollerskates", has anyone ever tried the "Gut Busters"? I tried it today, and despite the fact that if you have more then one or two a day, you'll probally die due to all the greese and stuff :p , it's really really good!

Re: Goof?

So they actually exist? I asked the question a long, long time ago and got a bunch of gross responses. Where can you get them??

There is that scene in "Mono" where Hal accidently drops a tray of biscuits that he's giving to Malcolm and Lois, he starts picking them up with that daft grip-thingy. When the camera switches back to Lois and Malcolm, one second later, all the biscuits are suddenly back on the plate. Talk about dodgy editing.

But overall you have to hand it to these people they do a darn good job considering it's all filmed with just one camera.
