This is truly terrible news! I hadn't realized the full extent of it, when I first took a kind of cursory glance at it.
Just imagine inviting Frankie to a TV show, a Comic-Con convention, or something similar, and asking him about an anecdote about Bryan Cranston or how a scene on MITM was shot, and you are met with a blank stare or he feels he has to make something up, because he doesn't remember.
I reckon this seriously restricts the poor guy's ability to land film roles, or to be in a rock group.
I'm not a medical expert by any stretch, but it's not too hard to grasp that a number of concussions can incur serious brain damage. Just look at what researchers found out about ageing boxers and, more recently, repeatedly heading the ball in soccer, which is generally played completely unprotected - but which is changing for young players, who are increasingly wearing headgear.
