Jane Kaczmarek has joined the new ABC pilot, "Who Gets the Parents?", a half hour multicamera comedy.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, the show "revolves around a couple (Kaczmarek, Adam Arkin), who, after 30 years of marriage, are getting a divorce and take on more active roles in the lives of their three adult children."
Joining Kaczmarek and Arkin are actors Andrew West ("Greek") and Derek Richardson (TV's "Men In Trees" and the film "Hostel") who play the couple's youngest and middle child, respectively.
Jane's character is named Phyllis Fiddleman and she's described as "outgoing, boundaryless, the biggest critic and biggest defender of her kids."
