Fascism is technically a very effective form of government, we've actally touch on this before. And if you view the political spectrum as a horseshoe shape, it becomes evident that fascism and socialism are the two ideologies that seem to be most similar. The one question I find difficult to answer when looking to fascism, is whether one can be a fascist without being rascism. In my personal oppinion the two are inextricalbly linked. Fascism believes in a need for struggle, through this struggle the weak are lost and only the strong remain. This obviosuly provides a chavansitic (in the non-sex related way) attitude and as such a raciailist attitude (a 'scientific' belief that one race is inferior to the other). More often than not a racialist attitude ultimate leads to a racist attitude. Despite this, many have agued that Mussolini (Italy) & Sir Oswald Mosely (English Fascist of the 20th century) did not have any rascist or even rascialist beliefs initially. However, following Hitler's instatement in Nazi Germany, both developed a heavily anti semetic view.
