Al Higgins one of the main Malcolm in the Middle writers and producers is working on a remake of the UK TV show Roman's Empire and it will star Kelsey Grammer (Frasier). A pilot for ABC is currently being made.
The UK series told the story of Leo who cannot extricate himself from the wealthy family of his ex-girlfriend, whose father is the overbearing businessman Roman.
