This episode just re-ran here in the US on Nick and I was floored at how funny it was. This is the episode where Malcolm and Reese believe the other is gay. Their little dance to Abba's "Take a Chance" PLUS Dewey's reaction shot is brilliant comedy.

Now, to my horror, how could I not notice that Jessica (my least favorite character) was played by none other than Hayden Panettiere - now of HEROES fame? Watching it again tonight, with her big frizzy hair, I only figured it out by recognizing her voice.

Yes, you've gotta know it's her! Pretty much the same with Tania Raymonde, who grew into a very attractive star in the series 'Lost'. It takes quite something for a teenage cast, I guess more so even for girls than for boys, to act like loathsome idiots in that very sensitive, self-conscious phase of life! But they all handled it brilliantly!
