an idea for an episode

Its just the barest of bones, but how does this sound?

Dewy begins to have an imaginary friend (I know its a little late in life, but Dewy is rather eccentric), all progresses as normal, until the new kid shows up in school, his family have just moved into the neighbourhood.

The weird thing is, the new kid is exactly like Dewy's imaginary friend, same appearence, same name, same personality.

Dewy tries to tell everyone about it, but no one else ever sees the new kid and they think Dewy is beginning to lose his mind.

Lois even r4esorts to having a psychologist examine Dewy. All the while, only Dewy gets to see the new kid, right up until the final moments of the episode, when he knocks on the Wilkerson's door to see if Dewy can come out to play.

I think you've found a brilliant way to handle how Dewey is a seventh grader having an imaginary friend. :D
