[Tips] How to figure out which DVDs are real!
Hi,
I just want to make a fast explanation about REAL and FAKE dvds.
Basically the only season that came out was Season 1 in DVD, and the others haven't.
So take a look at these, which I'm pretty sure these are burglars/fake:
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Malcolm-in-the...3%3A1|294%3A50 <- No info at all, only by contact, if it had it would be taken off eBay, as counterfeits are illegal.
Please if you really loke/love MITM then buy the 1st seasons and donate to get in future HD-720P/1080P episodes.
btw, this pisses me off seeing fake dvds being sold.

Yes that ebay link is 100% going to be fake. Seen the same thing many times before. They don't give details so they are less likely to be caught.
The main problem however is the fake DVD sites. As discussed in other threads.
From time to time I search ebay and report fakes. You can do that here: http://contact.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI...portItemMember
(BTW I don't think you meant "burglars", hehe)

I think 'meta'sites like these, which have a highly professional, Amazon-like sheen to them, make it even easier to fall for collections of dubious quality and legality. I just hit on it a week ago.
What do you make of it?

Eh, I'm making my own. Takes a heck of a long time on my slow computer, and the blank DVDs are pricey, but it will be worth it in the end. I just bought season 1, and finished "making" season 2.

You most likely will never get the bonus features from the 1st season DVDs unless you buy the real DVD set of Season 1.
Just to let those that don't know, know, it is 3 disks for season 1. It comes in a white box, and inside is a fold out white case, with all 3 disks, and a booklet. It has Malcolm's head on the cover. Don't buy any other set, this is the real one. Also, it is possible people could sell the real set themselves, but be sure you can see enough of it in pictures to know it is the real set. Also it should not be any much more than it is being sold by Amazon, and if it is, just go buy it from Amazon, using the Malcolm in the Middle Store that is conveniently right on this site, it is not that hard folks! http://www.malcolminthemiddle.co.uk/store

Also, I want to point out, Season 1 is only available as Region 1. it IS available for purchase on the UK Amazon site, as an import from the US, but still, only Region 1
