The actual house location. - Malcolm in the Middle Voting Community

i am going to los angeles on 17th may, so i bought a book on things to do and see there.
after reading the first page, it mencioned the house location.

the house is at:
12334 Cantura Street - "dinky" two bedroomed house sold for $479,000 and the producers pay $3,000 to $4,000 a day to film there. the current owners have earned over $100,000.

so now i have found the address, i am determined to go there, and if i get any pictures i will post them when i return on 1st june.

Anybody know the name of the city the house is in? I'm trying to see an aerial view of the house at a website but it needs the city name.

Nevermind, I got it. So it is either the one above or below the dot. I assume the one below because the driveway and backyard look pretty much the same. Cool.

That's cool. Thanks for the aerial shot, Remoss. I agree, I think it could be the house below and to the left of the dot too. That angled area on the back left of the house looks like it could possibly be their patio area like in this screencap from Bomb Shelter. Only, if that is the house, it looks like the roof is a different color in the Bomb Shelter pic and it looks bigger than it seems on TV. (Are they using actual house's backyard or a studio stage in season 7? I think I read that the outside scenes are still filmed on location.)

Now that I look at it closer, I'm not so sure I'm seeing all the trees along the street that are always so visible in the show. But it does almost looks like there are shadows on the street but nothing casting them. And it doesn't look like winter so the leaves should be there. Hmm.

@ Remoss - the pic could be old; it could have been taken before the other trees were planted.

@ Wando - that's awesome that you'll be able to go and see the house!

@ Sam - yep, it is 12334 - isn't it on the door or something? I can't remember the ep I saw it in but I know I've seen it.
