How did they make Hal fat for "If Boys Were Girls"? I've heard several different theories, what do you guys think?

I think it was latex. I remember they did the same with Eddie Murphy in "Nutty Professor" :D

It looked like the usual hollywood fat suit. Same kind they used for fat Monica on friends.

How does one of those suits make you look fat? Is it like you step inside and then they inflate the rest with air or something so it bulges?

It's padding for the body. Then the parts that look like skin, like the neck, are already formed and sort of glued on and then make-up is used to make it blend in.

Maybe they will show how they did it on the DVD, whenever that comes out.

MRD, if you're going to resurrect an old thread, I am in full support of it, but at least read it first. We fully agreed it was a suit of some sort.

Its not as if they are going to take a fat actor and make him thin for every episode except 1 is it now :D
