Hiya everyone, I don't want to look as "he only downloads, he doesn't buy" I'm not that kind of person, I buy Games/DVDs and etc to support but right now.. I can't afford to buy this and they can release the complete serie at any time, not meaning it's not worth because it is.

Well, thanks and hope someone please share, if possible through torrent it's more easier and I will use my max upload which is upto 200 kb's.

Bye.

EDIT: oh, you want downloads of the full DVDs, including bonus features? I have no clue where to get that. Just search online.

Well, what can I say? I don't know how to rip extras from DVD (really!), and remember extras would have to include running commentaries by cast and crew for all S1 episodes.

As I'm out of work myself, I sympathize with people who can't afford expensive multimedia, but as I consider MITM my favourite series (like most of us on here I assume), and you can now even get legal second-hand DVD copies from for instance Amazon for as little as 12 (British) pounds or US $18, I don't think this is expensive for three DVDs (!) and more than worth it saving up for!

Moreover, if we really want to keep commanding respect from MITM associates, as we have in the past, and we want to have more seasons with hopefully priceless extras see the light officially, the only thing we can do is push for the legal, official route as much as we can.

You can use DVD Decrypter to backup the DVDs on the PC. DVDShrink sucks.

I don't want to get dissapointed in buying the S01 DVDs and then see that a new edition is coming out or even Blu-Ray, I really want all S01 Full DVDs with Bonuses.

The DVD set is almost 7 years old, how likely could it be that a new edition would come out, if they also did not even bother with seasons 2 - 7 in all those years?

As for the episodes themselves, the BitTorrent complete collection has DVD rips of each episode on the Season 1 DVD, you just won't get bonus materiel... so currently, that and buying the DVD set is only 2 options, until someone release an .iso of the entire DVDs or something.

Richiepiep, plz upload all untouched dvds.

You can use DVD Decrypter to make the backups, also it's free.

No, I'm sorry I cannot do that. Especially as a staff member, I feel I have to propagate getting legally what is readily available at a reasonable price, and at the same time offer as much rare, special stuff (of sometimes doubtful, less than 100% legality) as we can for free on our site for all you fans.

It's a tough balancing act between pleasing the MITM producers, crew and cast to maintain good relations, and pleasing the fans, but I think, thanks to our astute moderators, we have been doing fine so far.

I've been avoiding commenting on this, but I guess I should make a decision as how the VC should stand. We have a very relaxed attitude to the sharing of audio/video/images related to MITM and its cast and crew. (as long as no money changes hands)

However I agree with Rich, complete DVD ISO/Images of the Season 1 DVD are not going to be allowed. If you are a big enough fan to want to watch the complete DVD, go buy it. It isn't expensive. Also sharing multiple 4GB files is complicated.

I do not think FOX needs DVD cover designs, and I don't think that will motivate them to release DVDs. They have plenty of graphic design companies that they can have make the covers. It is really just money that is the issue.

Is this in the wrong thread by the way? Isn't this a comment on the Fox DVD release campaign?

Anyway, yeah, you're right in that respect. I still have some romantic, idealistic notions that are painfully at odds with crass commercialism. ;) I just thought that it might help, because it does hammer the point home it's not a whim and we take this seriously. Also, some window-dressing can't harm.
