i stole this on the sky one message board anyway i say 2 choices (e.g malcolm or reese)it can be about anything from mitm-food-band-sport. you can make a little comment about the answer you choose.after you ask a question.this is a great way to get to know eachother.

so here is my question.

stevie or malcolm?

Apr 24, 2006, 12:34 PM

Wilkerson, most definatly.
Cynthia or Jessica(and no, neither is NOT an answer:D )?

Jul 10, 2006, 03:56 PM
Jessica, I find them both very annoying, but there's just something about Cynthia that really bothers me.
Victor (Lois' "Dad") or Walter (Hal's Dad)

Jul 10, 2006, 10:55 PM
Walter, he had civil war uniforms, guns and stuff like that.

(NOTE: Lt. Spangler is incorrect. Last time I checked, he had 4 stars, not 1 or 2 gold bars, Which would make him General Spangler. (the US General ranks of america being: (the number being the number of stars they display)

1= Brigider General
2= Major General
3= Lt. General
4= General
5= 5-star General[aka General of the Army] (only those such as Admirals Haulsey, Nimitz, and Gens. Pershing, MacArthur, Eisenhower, and finally Washington have had this rank)

:P )

understand that or not?

Jul 11, 2006, 12:20 AM
Thank you for that worthless information, J.:D Now ask your question so the game(or interview, whatever this is) can continue.:)

Jul 11, 2006, 08:50 AM
no need to go off on one! but i suppose if you want to be "politically correct" then knock yourself out.

pilot or graduation??

Jul 11, 2006, 09:37 AM
Toughie! But u gotta love the pilot!

Reese Joins the Army or Reese Comes Home?

Jul 11, 2006, 10:52 AM
Reese Comes Home, who doesn't love Mr. Waffles?!:D

Lois, with makeup or without?

Jul 11, 2006, 12:39 PM
Without--she looks like some weird hooker lady with it.

Crazy Hal or Sexy Hal?

Jul 11, 2006, 01:40 PM
weird hooker lady?:) :D
Anyways, Crazy Hal, of course!

Season 7

Jul 11, 2006, 03:20 PM
Definately Hal getting his go-kart license. He looks so happy in that picture. :D

Polly, with Abe or Craig?

Jul 11, 2006, 03:32 PM
@Yardgames-Did you get the idea for your question by looking at my sig?;)
Anyways.......I like Polly with Craig because Craig never gets a girl at all. At least Abe was married.:D
Regular reckless Reese or married(or living on his own) responsible Reese?

Jul 11, 2006, 04:20 PM
Yes. Regular reckless Reese.

Lloyd or Dabney?

Jul 11, 2006, 06:36 PM

Gotta love that crazy Dabney paintballing style!!

Yougn Dewey or Older Dewey

Jul 11, 2006, 11:54 PM
Older Dewey. Young Dewey was just annoying. Older Dewey was cool.
Regular genius Malcolm or Stupid Malcolm(as he was in "Stupid Girl")?

Jul 12, 2006, 12:25 AM
Stupid Malcolm, he actually seemed relaxed and was able to enjoy himself. Also, he had a girlfriend!:)

Hal and Lois' relationship, before or after Jamie?

Jul 12, 2006, 09:32 AM
After Jamie, mainly for Hl's great performances in S7 ;)

Reese before High School or in High School?

Jul 12, 2006, 09:59 AM
Reese in High School.

Dewey's dog or Dewey's fish?

Jul 12, 2006, 10:57 AM
They were both so good, but i'm going to have to say Dewey's dog, because it ended up seriously injuring Craig.

Francis, before or after he got married?

Jul 12, 2006, 01:38 PM
That's a tough one...Im gonna have to say after, though. He was just too much of an ass before.:D
Regular mean Lois or docile Lois(as in "Reese Joins the Army")?

Jul 12, 2006, 10:17 PM
Regular Lois - she was a little too nutty when she made those pigs! :p

Clip Shows #1 or #2?

Jul 13, 2006, 01:16 AM
Clip Show #2, it was great to see scenes with just Hal and Lois. Clip Show #1 was missing Lois and it used cold opens, so I didn't feel it was that good of an episode.

Lois, rolling in the mud at the company picnic or in the Mrs. Tri-County pageant?

Jul 14, 2006, 11:22 AM
Crazy Mud rolling Lois!

High School Reese or Middle School Reese?

Jul 14, 2006, 04:15 PM
I liked middle school Reese better because he was able to wail on the Krelboynes and it wasn't so obvious he didn't have any friends.

Malcolm and Reese bowling with Hal or with Lois?

Jul 15, 2006, 08:50 AM
Bowling with Lois. I loved how Reese couldnt get that joke out to that girl though :P

Crazy/Angry Lois or Crazy/Angry Hal

Jul 15, 2006, 12:41 PM
I love Lois though, but my favorite has got to be crazy Hal. He goes insane so many times. Especially Hal with the boys in Book Club, he is just so unpredictable.

The family dynamic before or after Jamie was born?

Jul 15, 2006, 07:40 PM
Before Jamie..

I ddint see much of his role and i prefered the boys when they were younger.

Lois' Birthday or Hal's Birthday

Jul 15, 2006, 11:45 PM
Lois's birthday. REALLY good episode(Hal's birthday was great, too).:)
Younger Reese(seasons 1-3) or older Reese(seasons 4-7)?

Jul 16, 2006, 08:34 AM
Older Reese!!

Even though i loved Young resse when he beat the crap out of people but still he was more dumb and random and funny when he was older.

Company Picnic 1 or Company picnic 2

Jul 16, 2006, 12:17 PM
You know, to be completely honest, I have never seen that as two separate episodes; even my tape is actually sewn together as one episode. Where, exactly, does the first episode end and the second part start?

Jul 16, 2006, 01:50 PM
well in the uk the separte the episodes

company picnic 1 end where malcolm and that girl and tied togther after he says somethign stupid :)

Jul 16, 2006, 04:22 PM
Which time? :D I might to go watch it to remember the part you're thinking of. What is the cold open for the second half? (Sorry, off-topic--someone continue the game.)

Jul 16, 2006, 04:43 PM
There is no cold open for the second half. They just do a Previously on Malcolm in the Middle... thing.

Jul 19, 2006, 04:22 PM
Okay re-start this thing

Poker I or Poker II

Jul 19, 2006, 08:03 PM
Definately Poker I, Lois and Reese dancing and Hal playing poker will all of his "professional" friends was classic. :)

Francis at the Grotto or Francis in Alaska?

Jul 19, 2006, 10:20 PM
Francis at the Grotto, definitely. :D

Bully Reese or Sensitive Reese?

Jul 21, 2006, 12:20 PM
Bully Reese

I enjoyed the pain of strangers somehow

Smart Dewey, Smart Malcolm?

Jul 21, 2006, 12:38 PM
Smart Dewey. He got less whiny the smarter he got(Malcolm got whinyer the smarter he got).:D

Ida or Lavernia(and no, neither is NOT an answer, but I know the temptation to say neither)?:D

Jul 21, 2006, 05:00 PM
Ida !

She is pure evil

Lavernia is just wannabe evil >:)

Heres a three way question: Millertry School Francis, Alaska Francis, Grotto Francis

Jul 22, 2006, 10:13 PM
Military school Francis. Who could choose otherwise after the wonderful performance of 'candyman'?

Mrs Miller or Mr Herkabe?

Jul 22, 2006, 11:16 PM
Herekabe--A guy I just love to hate. :D

Along those lines...Spangler or Herkabe?

Jul 22, 2006, 11:48 PM
Wow, what a cool thread. I'll jump in here. Colonel Spangler, most assuredly! You could honestly feel for him. Herkebe was just a wimp you wanted to see get beat up! Side note regarding "Company Picnic." It was an extended episode, tecnically divided into two shows, more for payroll purposes. And the reason was that it was aired directly after the Superbowl and was Fox's big marketing campaign to get the show noticed. Did you notice all the celebs in that episode? Magic Johnson in drag? Pure genius. ... OK, back to the game ... here's a tough one ... shows that were dialog driven or shows that were action/ situation driven?

Jul 24, 2006, 01:54 AM
Hmm..that's a tricky question because some of the really good episodes had a mixture of both. But if I have to choose, it'd be...dialoge driven(no offense at all, Bobby:) ). But still, the best episodes of the show had a mixture of both dialoge/stunts.
Whats the better job for Reese...Chef or Janitor?

Jul 24, 2006, 01:59 AM
Chef Reese all the way!

Another 3 way - outta state vacation - Burning Man, Vegas or Wavetown USA?

Jul 24, 2006, 02:14 AM
(ahem, crowd please)...BURNING MAN! BURNING MAN! BURNING MAN!:D Burning Man; one of my favorite episodes of the entire series. Very underrated episode.
Cool, collected Dewey or sugar hyped Dewey?:)

Jul 24, 2006, 08:33 AM
Sugar hyped :)

season 1 or season 7 ?

Jul 24, 2006, 08:21 PM
Season 7's good, but I like season 1 more! :D

Hal's side of the family or Lois' side?

Jul 25, 2006, 08:08 AM
Hal's side, although we could rarely see them. Ida is mean to everyone, Hal's family is only mean to Lois... :D

"Halloween approximately" or "Halloween"?

Jul 25, 2006, 09:04 AM
Halloween approximatly!!

Spangler or Laverina

Jul 25, 2006, 10:39 AM
Spangler, Lavernia was one mean, ugly woman!

Which birth: Francis', Reese's, Malcolm's, Dewey's or Jamie's?

Jul 25, 2006, 10:51 AM
Like the Funniest Birth? That would be Reese's !!

Reese Joins the Army I or II or Reese comes Home?

Jul 25, 2006, 11:42 AM
Reese Joins the Army 2--the first part was sort of building up to everything that happened in part two--genius, certainly. One of the funniest scenes in the entire series, in my opinion, is when Lois is in the shower for hours and Malcolm gives a wonderful speech, and then Lois says, "I'm in the shower!."

But overall, I enjoyed Part 2 more because there were so many funny instances, yet it was all written into this super-dramatic plot.

Reese Comes Home was sappy for me--perhaps the sappiest of the series, definitely more so than Graduation. I'm not a crier, but I cannot watch the last scene where the boys are reunited after they think Reese is dead without crying. Other than that scene though it's mostly downward plot action. Not that that whole miniseries isn't far-fetched, but Reese Comes Home is the farthest fetched, and the other two storylines (Dewey/Hal) are done so it's not quite as interesting.

Polly or Claire? (Bobby, whatever happened to Polly anyway?)

Jul 25, 2006, 05:18 PM

I thought that was pretty funny that scene where malcolm talkign to dewey

Malcolm: I cant believe he really gone..
(Presses button and hears screams in backround)

Piama or Jessica (Both look sweet but devilishin different ways >:)

Jul 25, 2006, 05:28 PM
Hmm.... Jessica's the b$%^h, Piama's the independent (so we saw in season 3. You get what I mean.)

No contest there - Piama.

For the more in-depth Malcolm viewers (cough-me-cough ;)), first-run (Fox) or syndication (local)?

Jul 25, 2006, 07:53 PM
Definately the first run on FOX. The syndicated episodes don't do the series justice and I'm getting really sick of the missing scenes and cold openers in most of the episodes.

Abe, divorced or married to Kitty?

Jul 25, 2006, 10:03 PM
Abe divorced. He was so free when Kitty was gone.:D
Normal Hal or Drunk Hal?:)

Jul 25, 2006, 11:54 PM
Drunk all the way! :D:D:D

Teacher - Caroline or Herkabe?

Jul 26, 2006, 12:24 AM
Herkabe!:D I have to admit, Herkabe is one of my favorite supporting characters from the whole series. Caroline was just...weird.
Who's the bigger a$$hole, Ida or Herkabe?:D

Jul 26, 2006, 05:01 AM
Herkabe. Ida is pretty bad, but in some twisted way, I find her more likeable.

Hal- Angry or Happy?

Jul 26, 2006, 01:00 PM
Well, an angry Hal is a rarity in MitM. But even so, a happy Hal goes a long way.:D

Another 3 way - Richie, Circus or Justin?

Jul 26, 2006, 02:17 PM
Uh...I don't get what your asking. Circus or Justin?

Jul 26, 2006, 02:56 PM
All 3 of them - Francis' friends from the first season.

Jul 26, 2006, 07:13 PM
Oh! Ok, sorry I didn't get what you asked.:)
Anyways, I always liked Richie. "Rule number one..there ARE no rules. Rule number two...":D
(Ok, here's my own "three way" thing)-Which of Francis bosses did you like most: Spangler, Lavernia, Otto?

Jul 26, 2006, 08:06 PM
I liked Spangler the best. Lavernia was scary looking and incredibly mean. Otto and Gretchen just got on my nerves.

Okay, do you like Lois better pregnant or not pregnant?

Jul 27, 2006, 12:39 AM
(Isn't Lois the same either way? Just fatter?:D ). Anyways, probably just regular unpregnant Lois.:)
Which "family vacation" episode do you like more, Water Park or Burning Man?

Jul 27, 2006, 07:30 AM
Both episodes were brilliant, but I liked Burning Man better.

Hmm... what more can I ask?

Malcolm in High School or in his Krelboyne class?

Jul 27, 2006, 08:43 AM
Krelyboyne :)

Who would win in a fight Piama or Lois :)

Jul 27, 2006, 12:33 PM
Lois, absolutely no question about it. She's not afraid to get violent or wrestle in the mud! :)

Were the Krelboynes better off with or without Cynthia?

Jul 27, 2006, 02:26 PM
With Cynthia. At least she can fight.:D
Responsible Francis or Reckless, normal Francis?

Jul 30, 2006, 06:54 PM
Ooh this looks fun!:D I'd say rackless normal Francis(then he's funnier!)

Sensitive Reese or normal mean Reese? (I like both!)

Jul 30, 2006, 10:27 PM
Normal mean Reese. Reese is definately at his best when he's wailing on kids that probably don't deserve it.

Do you like Lois better drunk (as in Book Club) or in a catatonic state (as in Reese Joins the Army)?

Jul 30, 2006, 10:36 PM
Her cata..catta...whatever that was state.:D She was docile and FINALLY wasn't bossy. Of course, as soon as Hal was found innocent, she went off on him about missing Fridays. Figures. :D
Younger Stevie or older Stevie(as in seasons 3-7)?

Jul 31, 2006, 05:41 AM
Younger Stevie. I can't tell why, but i liked him better when he was younger.

Malcolm hurting his head in Home alone (3) or Reese hurting his leg in Mini Bike?

Jul 31, 2006, 08:42 AM
Reese Hurting his leg in mini-bike

Trying to act hurt going "ow please help me" til dewey hit his leg properly

Aug 2, 2006, 01:52 PM
Anyway... tryin to keep the game goin.

In syndication, cut cold openers or cut episode time (like missing and/or shorter scenes within the eppy)? ;)

Aug 2, 2006, 06:02 PM
Cut out the full credits at the end and keep cold openers and full episode.

Reese bald (Reese Joins the Army) or Francis bald (Bully)?

Aug 2, 2006, 07:11 PM
Reese bald. I can't explain it(well..maybe I can) but Francis looks...weird..with a bald head.:D
Anyways, what do you like Reese as, a Chef OR a Soldier(like in, of course, Reese joins the army)?

Aug 3, 2006, 07:10 AM
Soldier :)

Kreyboynes or Buseys?

Aug 3, 2006, 11:11 AM
Krelboynes. At least we saw them for more than a few eppies. ;)

Opening credits - The 'Red Dress/Fox Pilot' version (the basis for my custom credits, to remind you) or the original anime/monster/wrestling laden credits?

Aug 3, 2006, 02:01 PM
Im gonna have to say the original anime/monster/wrestling laden credits.:D Those are the ones Im so used to.

When did you like Malcolm more, when he was younger(seasons 1-3) or older(season 4-7)?

Aug 3, 2006, 02:15 PM
Well, as the series went on, he got more... dare I say, b!*()y. ;) So, I'm gonna say, younger Malcolm.

Since Malcolm was presented in Widescreen and then true HD later on... widescreen (where you can see more of the picture, but with the black bars) or fullscreen?

Aug 3, 2006, 03:19 PM
Wide screen--higher resolution. But it's hard to find the non-HD widescreen ones, namely S4 and 5.

Ida with two legs or Ida with one leg?

Aug 3, 2006, 04:11 PM
Ida with one leg...at least she suffered loosing it.:D

Who's better at insults, Ida OR Mr.Herkabe?

Aug 3, 2006, 04:58 PM
Ida, of course! ("Come talk to me of toast when you grow some hair in your pants." :D)

Opening credits or 5-second stinger?

Aug 4, 2006, 07:02 PM
Opening credits, of course. YOUR NOT THE BOSS OF ME, NOW! YOUR NOT THE BOSS OF ME, NOW!:D ;) Classic.

Who's the funnier...er...fat guy?:D Abe OR Craig?

Aug 4, 2006, 07:32 PM
Who's the funnier...er...fat guy?:D Abe OR Craig?

It's a difficult one :p ! Both can be very funny, with each their own style.

Craig who appears very nice and suddenly becomes angry (when speaking to Lois), or Abe and his pocker games, his problems with kitty, the music band (in Long Drive, season 4)...

Hard to chose, but I will finally say Abe Kenarban. (subjective choice, I really like both)

You could also add Hal in the episode "if boys were girls" (4x10) :D

Did you prefer Hal in "Halloween" (frightened by the possible return of the dead murderer), or in "Jessica stays over" (frightened by the bees)

Aug 4, 2006, 10:40 PM
Hal in "Jessica Stays Over" - Sure, the squeamish-ity I'm cool with, but it was just so dang funnier with him and the bee!:D

Long (like 2:00) cold openers from season 1 - "Family Portait" (Sleepover) or "The 17.4th Dinner" (Home Alone 4)?

Aug 6, 2006, 12:01 AM
Probably "Family Portrait".:D How Lois gets everyone's attention for the picture...classic MITM.:)

Looking at flashbacks and certain episodes, who is more destructive, Reese OR Francis?:)

Hey...THIS IS MY 800TH POST!!!!

Jul 8, 2007, 03:24 AM
I'm going to have to say Francis.
