My Sexiest Year starring Frankie has beenontheradarfor what seem like ages but having secured a deal with THINKFilm we expect there to be a trailer and release date soon.
Its been accepted into the 2008 Miami International Film Festival, to be held in Miami, February 28 - March 9, 2008. Festival program details will be announced in mid-to-late January.
In this bittersweet coming-of-age story – told from the present, but set in the swinging ’70s – 17-year old Jake Stein (Frankie Muniz), an aspiring writer, moves from his Brooklyn home to Miami to live with his gambler father (Harvey Keitel) who abandoned Jake and his mother years earlier.
Surrounded by wealthy and glamorous South Beach-types, Jake is taken under the wing of a famous model (Amber Valletta) who is as fed up with the high life as Jake is attracted to it. Their friendship – and what it leads to – is just one of the many transforming experiences that provide Jake with material for “My Sexiest Year,” the best-selling book that he will write years later about that unforgettable time.
Frankie Muniz has put his house (N. Wetherly Drive, Los Angeles, CA) up for sale at $3,875,000. Which he bought in January of 2006 for $3,499,000. Some sources say he did “extensive” upgrades, so we are unsure of whether he will make a profit. Frankie has bought and sold several houses in the past.
Features in the Wetherly Drive house that Frankie is selling include four baths, an open floor plan, an outdoor fireplace, a pool and spa, a full surround sound system, a viewing deck, and a large master suite with pitched ceilings, skylights, two walk-in closets and a bath with an infinity tub, according to listing information. The 1,972-square-foot house was built in 1941 and sits on a very small, 0.17-acre lot, according to public records. Described as ‘hot property’ but the LATimes.
It is not yet known if Frankie has purchased a new home, but I’m sure we will find out soon.
The house at 1164 N. Doheny Drive above the Sunset Strip, which he purchased in mid-2003 through his 1164 North Doheny Drive Trust for an undisclosed amount and which he sold to actress Halle Berry’s New Start Trust in mid-2005 for $5,995,000, according to public records.
The 3,891-square-foot house at 1506 Blue Jay Way in the Bird Streets area of Los Angeles’ Hollywood Hills, which Muniz purchased in mid-2004 for an undisclosed amount. Muniz’s Blue Jay Way Trust sold the house in May 2005 for $3,900,000 to a non-celebrity after it had been listed for $3,995,000. Built in 1962, that house has nifty security features like fingerprint-recognition software. Blue Jay Way is the street where actress Jennifer Aniston owns (and rents out) a 2,903-square-foot house (at 1639 Blue Jay Way), which she purchased in 1995 through her Wonder Trust for $742,500, according to public records.
Forbes have named Frankie Muniz the 20th richest celebrity under 25, based on 2006 earnings.
Forbes with E! aired a TV show about the list last year. Although brief Frankie said he had 30 cars, he made $30,000 an episode at the beginning of Malcolm in the Middle and $120,000 at the end and based on those figures user MalcolmFun estimates he made 1/2 a million on Stay Alive.
Andy Dick and Frankie are both guests on the Jimmy Kimmel Show. Andy is falling down drunk and disgusting on live TV and Frankie tells him “Dude, you smell like butthole.” Jimmy agrees at which point Andy whips it out and urinates on the both of them.
Frankie Muniz was in Grand Cayman from Friday 7 to Sunday 9 December, 2007 for 5th Annual Charity Cayman Classic, which is a benefit golf tournament.
Frankie Muniz: “It’s my first time in Grand Cayman and I’m loving it, it’s beautiful. I’ll be playing a round of golf tomorrow which I’m really looking forward to.”
From what we can tell Frankie is at the same West Hollywood GYM all 3 times and the guy with him would be his personal trainer.

As we havereportedpreviously, Frankie’s film My Sexiest Year premièred at the Hamptons International Film festival and OK! Magazine where there and have just released their write up of the event.
It was a sexy feast for the cast of My Sexiest Year at the Hamptons International Film Festival. Harvey Keitel, Daphna Kastner, Frankie Muniz and model-turned-actress Karolina Kurkova dined at Prime 103 to toast the premiere of their coming-of-age dramedy and OK! joined them for the four-course meal……..On the menu were steak, salmon and lobster risotto, topped off with banana spring rolls for dessert, and everyone scarfed the dishes down.
As for Frankie, he’s finally back at work in the field that made him a household name after a two-year sabbatical. Following Malcolm in the Middle’s cancellation, the 21-year-old turned his focus onto his first love of race car driving and currently competes in the Champ Car Atlantic Championship.
“I love being an actor but if I had to choose one over the other, I’d definitely pick racing cars.”
Read a review of the film here, and see more pictures from the premier here.
There is supposedly more information/pictures in the magazine it’s self so if anyone can get a copy and do some scans and post in the forum, that would be great.
Some random information on Frankie’s travel habits and his thoughts on older women, Basket Ball and Tennis.
Travel: Muniz, who starred in Malcolm In The Middle, has taken the year off to pursue his interest in racing. As a driver with the Champ Car World Series and spokesman for the safe-driving campaign Hands on the Wheel, Muniz travels about 150 days out of the year. Packing: Top tip? Muniz rolls his pants so they don’t wrinkle. On board: He makes the time fly by busying himself with Sudoku puzzles. Hotel: The first thing Muniz does upon arriving is unpack and hang his clothes. “I hate living out of bags,” he says. “This makes it feel more comfortable.” He then finds a nearby Italian restaurant and loads up on carbs to keep his energy level high.
“I’d die without older women.” Frankie Muniz, 22, has a thing for more mature ladies.
Dawn Evans an old acting friend of Frankie’s who now play college basket ball, says;
“He could really play basketball,” Evans recalled of Muniz ” “You’re looking at him, and you don’t think so. But he was real good. Real quick - like a little point guard. We got along pretty well.”
Frankie is also said to have attended Cayman Classic tennis event at The Ritz–Carlton last weekend.
