Net has also greenlit “Breaking Bad,” the Sony Pictures Television show in which Bryan Cranston plays a high school chemistry teacher who becomes a meth dealer after being diagnosed with a terminal disease.
With its focus on a sympathetic drug peddler, the script from “The X-Files” exec producer Gilligan had been considered a hot, if controversial, property at the cable nets.
“It’s a surprising show for AMC, and it evolves our definition of what AMC can do. The main character does some things that are surprising and questionable,” acknowledged AMC exec veep of programming and production Rob Sorcher. “But it’s a classic story of one man against the system, and you’re rooting for him.”
Nine episodes will be ordered, Sorcher said, including a 58-minute pilot. Show will go into production in September in New Mexico and likely air in January.
UPDATE: Also staring Aaron Paul ( Mission: ImpossibleIII), Anna Gunn ( Deadwood), Dean Norris ( Little Miss Sunshine), Betsy Brandt ( CSI) and RJ Mitte ( Hannah Montana, Weeds).
The ‘Legend of Secret Pass‘ takes place in the mountains of the South West and involves Thunderbirds of Indian mythology and an animal refuge of mystical proportions. An unlikely troop of animals and humans are caught up in a clash of ageless magic. In this moment of crisis, the barest chance to avoid cataclysm falls into the hands of an Indian boy, Manu voiced by Frankie Muniz.
This ‘Making of’ video features footage of Frankie voicing Manu.
Michael Chiklis (Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer) told SCI FI Wire that he’s completed work on an upcoming animated movie entitled The Legend of Secret Pass. The story follows a Native American boy named Manu (Frankie Muniz), who must follow his destiny in the face of impending doom. “I play the villain,” Chiklis said in an interview while promoting Rise of the Silver Surfer. “It deals with a particular American Indian tribe [called the Thunderbirds]. It’s very magical. It’s dealing with shamans and the Earth and connecting with our Earth. I think it’s kind of topical because of all this talk of global warming and everything. It deals with being rooted and grounded in the Earth and the elements and being kind to it.”
Whenever I have time and a race is within reach, I’m there! This atmosphere is one of a kind. And if you like fast cars this is exactly your place - the vibrating air and the horrendous noise at the start, the fight for every position! Even if you have seen this several times, you want more - and I wanted more. I wanted to race - and that is what I am doing. I am a professional race driver now, hoping to find a GP2 seat for next year. What’s the difference between acting and racing? As an actor, it’s all about what people think of you. You can do your best job possible, but if someone says it sucks, it sucks, whereas here, if I’m good, it will show!
Just finished updating the site - you will see more information in the sidebar –> Such as latest forum posts, also the look of site is a little more slick, including these short posts.

Amanda Beard 2 time Olympic Gold medallist has this to say:
You live in L.A. — who is the biggest name in your cell phone? Oh brother. … Frankie Muniz? He’s the biggest sweetheart. We go on motorcycle rides all the time because he’s big into them and so is my boyfriend.

GameSetWatch.com have had a steady stream of comments on one of their posts about a possible Stay Alive (Horror movie starring Frankie Muniz) video game. Currently it’s all rumours nothing solid, but there has been a lot of interest since DVD release with people wanting to get their hands on the actual video game, which comes to life and kills various shrieking protagonists in the movie.
[the game] doesn’t exist, unfortunately - though one commenter does point out a Yahoo Video Games post, explaining that movie co-creators William Brent Bell and Matthew Peterman and Epic’s Cliff Bleszinski “…created a game design document for a Stay Alive game. While the game only exists as CGI in the movie, which was done by Pixel Liberation Front, the team does have a real game design document that they can use for a second film.
I’m not holding my breathe - as much as I would like to help Frankie escape death! See the movie trailer below.
